Digitalisation is a Ukrainian national priority. Our IT companies show impressive achievements in the field of artificial intelligence. Ukrainian companies engaged in AI development are well-known all over the world: Reface produces generative tools for content creation, including a unique face-replacement technology that is used worldwide. Cardiomo offers devices for real-time heart health monitoring. Preply, an AI-powered language learning platform, connects thousands of teachers and students. Researchers are using deep learning methods to create synthetic voices. People.ai, which has attracted investment and is valued at $1.1 billion, offers a platform for sales acceleration. Osavul is focused on protecting against disinformation, and Videogorillas develops algorithms for Hollywood studios and Netflix projects in the field of image and video recognition. AI is not something new for us – Ukrainian companies have been working with the newest technologies for years,
Maria Shevchuk, Acting Executive Director of ITU said.
Denmark is one of the most digitalized countries in Europe and takes second place in the EU according to the Digital Competitiveness Index. Denmark includes AI development in the country’s strategy, has 24 AI development programs in both the public and private sectors, and has defined 4 priority sectors for AI development: healthcare, government services, agriculture, and transport.
We are truly grateful to the initiators for the invitation and the chance to present the powerful potential of Ukrainian IT on the Danish market.
ITU has become a member of the working group on artificial intelligence regulation in Ukraine and is a strategic partner of the Ministry of Digital Transformation in AI growth.
