International Cooperation

Our goal is to represent the interests of Ukrainian Tech Community on the global arena, integrate IT business to the international market and promote the brand of Ukraine as a leading technological nation.

Our activities

GOAL

The international cooperation of the IT Ukraine Association aims to represent the interests of the Ukrainian IT community, increase the recognition of Ukraine and Ukrainian companies worldwide, integrate business into global value chains, and seek partners on the  key markets for Ukrainian companies.

AREAS OF WORK

International Events

The IT Ukraine Association actively works on creating and implementing projects abroad to find new partners for Ukrainian IT companies, increase export volumes, and position Ukraine as a reliable and predictable partner. Specifically, the Association systematically organizes international conferences and forums, trade missions and ensures the participation of Ukrainian companies in the largest international exhibitions and shows within collective stands.

Cooperation with the global community and partnership

A vast network of partners, including foreign associations, international technical assistance projects, public organizations, and other institutions, provides opportunities to represent the interests of Ukrainian businesses locally in the selected markets, as well as to create initiatives to enhance their capabilities and expansion. In collaboration with foreign partners, the Association offers a range of opportunities for Ukrainian companies:

  • Speaking engagements at international events;
  • Participation in podcasts, publications in specialized foreign editions;
  • Analytical information;
  • Access to several international shows/exhibitions, and more.

The IT Ukraine Association actively collaborates with WITSA, Digital Europe and other international organizations to convey information on how Ukrainian IT companies maintain their operations today. We are proud of our collaboration with Emerging Europe under the Support Digital Ukraine initiative, aimed at raising global awareness of the potential of the Ukrainian tech ecosystem. Together with partners such as USAID CYBER, Good Governance Fund, GiZ GmbH, USAID CEP, and others, the Association creates additional opportunities for the development of competencies and service exports.

MEDIA

IT Ukraine collaborates with numerous international media to create reliable communication platforms that provide current information abroad. This information has been published in journals such as The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and Computer Weekly. Systematic communication with specialized foreign editions is one of the key areas of the Association’s work, aimed at increasing Ukraine’s recognition and competitiveness in the global market.

Training

As part of the targeted entry of a group of companies into selected markets, the Association offers various training opportunities, namely specialized webinars with industry professionals who will help find a niche in a particular market, as well as provide detailed information on the specifics of cooperation with the chosen country.

Ihor Polych,

Vice President on International Cooperation, СЕО Devlight

We always aimed to establish new grounds for international cooperation and strengthen the position of Ukraine as one of the major global hubs of IT talents, but with the beginning of war launched by the russian federation in Ukraine, the International Relations Department has also become a platform providing current data on the state of the Ukrainian IT sector during the war and consolidating support from international partners.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors of the IT Ukraine Association are an initiative to create and build a large-scale representation system of the Association in the focal markets for the Ukrainian IT sector. The main idea is to introduce additional positions in the Association – Ambassadors, who will work on a voluntary basis with the aim of expanding the network of partnerships, finding new initiatives and activities, or creating prerequisites for this, expanding the networking network of the Association and its members, as well as increasing the public representation of the Association for the border
