Incredible Tech: Presented Globally

Incredible Tech catalogue has become a powerful tool for introducing Ukrainian IT solutions to a global audience since its launch at the end of 2023.

 

Incredible Tech is an English-language catalogue for international investors and potential clients from the public and business sectors, developed by the IT Ukraine Association together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and Top Lead agency. It currently represents 116 Ukrainian IT companies and 36 IT products.

 

For each of the companies and products showcased, Incredible Tech answers the key questions: “Why is this company/product incredible?” The catalogue is constantly updated, providing convenient access to information about cutting-edge technology solutions from Ukraine for investors and potential clients in both the public and business sectors.

 

Over the past year, the catalogue has been presented at more than 10 large-scale technology exhibitions worldwide, where Ukrainian IT companies showcased their innovative products and established connections with international partners. Key events include:

 

Smart Country Convention – October 2023

 

 

At the international exhibition Smart Country Convention 2023 in Germany, Ukraine made its debut as a partner, attracting the attention of European business, government officials and diplomats to its innovative solutions in the fields of GovTech and Smart City. Ukrainian companies, including Digicode, ELEKS, Sigma Software Group, Triare, and the GovTech IT Cluster of Ukraine (42flows.tech, Kitsoft, and Prozori Solution), presented advanced digital services, highlighting Ukraine’s leadership in the digitalisation of administrative services. The event facilitated partnerships, expanded international cooperation and strengthened Ukraine’s position as an important player in the  IT services market within the EU.

 

Ukraine’s national stand at the Smart Country Convention 2023 was organised by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, Diia.Business, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany and the IT Ukraine Association.

 

CEATEC – October 2023

 

 

At CEATEC 2023 in Japan, the Ukrainian delegation showcased the achievements of the IT industry and established strong ties with Japanese technological institutions. In particular, discussions took place regarding acceleration programmes with the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) and opportunities for cooperation with the Information-Technology Promotion Agency (IPA) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The visit of Japan’s Minister of Economy and Trade, Yasutoshi Nishimura, to the Ukrainian stand highlighted Japan’s interest in Ukrainian IT capabilities. The event confirmed the prospects for deepening cooperation and expanding the presence of Ukrainian IT companies in the Japanese market.

 

The national stand of Ukraine at CEATEC 2023 was organised by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, the national project Diia.Business with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Japan and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine. FintechConnect – December 2023

 

 

At FinTech Connect 2023 in London, dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the fintech industry, Ukraine was represented by a collective stand of the IT Ukraine Association. Participants, including 8allocate, Digicode, Sigma Software, Beetroot and COAX Software, shared their advancements in digital financial innovation, payments, Web3, artificial intelligence and regtech. The event brought together over 3000 participants and 150 leading experts and became an important platform for showcasing Ukrainian expertise and strengthening Ukraine’s position in the international FinTech community.

 

Stockholm Fintech Week – February 2024

 

 

During an intensive Study Tour to Sweden, representatives of small and medium-sized Ukrainian IT businesses were able to dive deeper into insights of the Swedish market and IT ecosystem, by visiting Kista Science City, Sweden’s leading tech hub. They also attended Stockholm Fintech Week, where they established contacts with leaders of the fintech industry, business and government representatives of Sweden. An important stage was the visit to Stockholm Fintech Week, where Ukrainian companies were able to establish contacts with key representatives of the fintech industry, business and the Swedish government. The ITU Sweden Study Tour has become an important step towards expanding the capabilities of Ukrainian businesses and increasing their competitiveness in the European market.

 

The ITU Sweden Study Tour was organised by the IT Ukraine Association and Open Trade Gate Sweden in collaboration with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, the national project Diia.Business and with the support of the TIPSTER project: “Trade, Intellectual Property Support and Technical Regulation,” which is implemented by the “Reform Support Foundation in Ukraine” with financial support from the German government within the framework of the international cooperation project ReACT4UA, implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

 

UK-Ukraine Tech Forum – March 2024

 

 

In early April, the UK-Ukraine Tech Forum in London hosted a closed roundtable dedicated to strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom in the field of cybersecurity. Ukrainian companies, including ISSP, Cyber Unit Technologies, 10Guards and others, presented their advanced cyber defence solutions and more than 50 experts discussed critical infrastructure protection, countering disinformation and the role of Ukrainian technologies in shaping global cybersecurity. 

 

The cybersecurity roundtable was organised by UK Business and Trade, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the IT Ukraine Association, together with techUK, with the support of the USAID project “Cybersecurity of Ukraine’s Critical Infrastructure.”

 

Hannover Messe – April 2024

 

 

At the end of April, Ukraine participated in HANNOVER MESSE 2024, the world’s largest industrial exhibition, which brought together 250,000 visitors and over 4,000 exhibitors, including technology giants such as Google and Microsoft. The national stand of Ukraine featured 11 companies specialising in metalworking,  automation of production processes, innovative technologies and industrial equipment. The stand attracted the attention of influential guests, including the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, representatives of the European Commission and German parliamentarians. 

 

The national stand of Ukraine was organised by the public organisation Unite Ukraine in collaboration with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, the national project Diia.Business, the IT Ukraine Association and with support from the USAID programme “Competitive Economy of Ukraine.”

 

Stockholm Tech Show – May 2024

 

 

At the Stockholm Tech Show 2024, one of the most powerful technology exhibitions in Northern Europe, Ukraine presented a Collective Stand for the second time, featuring innovations from 10 leading Ukrainian IT companies. Over the two-day event, Ukrainian participants held more than 300 B2B meetings with potential partners from various countries, from Sweden to Argentina and shared their sustainability experience at a panel discussion. The exhibition drew significant attention to the Ukrainian IT sector, which showcases both innovation and resilience, strengthening the confidence of international clients.

 

The Collective Stand of Ukraine was organised by the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, the national project Diia.Business and Open Trade Gate Sweden in collaboration with the IT Ukraine Association.

 

Viva Technology – May 2024

 

 

At Viva Technology 2024 in Paris, which took place from 22 to 25 May, Ukraine showcased 14 companies at its national stand for the third time, attracting over 165,000 visitors. Among the participants were startups such as 3D UTU, Bimp, Deus Robotics, and Promova. Throughout the event, key meetings took place with representatives from leading global companies and investment funds, including BNP Paribas, Amazon Web Services, and IBM. The Ukrainian stand welcomed high-ranking officials, including the French Minister for Digital Affairs, Marina Ferrari, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to France, Vadym Omelchenko.

 

The national stand of Ukraine at Viva Technology 2024 was organised by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in France, Diia.City and the Ukrainian Startup Fund, together with the IT Ukraine Association, CCI France Ukraine, La French Tech Kyiv, Nazovni, Digital Ukraine and Seeds of Bravery, with support from Mastercard and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.

 

Money20/20 Europe – June 2024

 

 

A Trade Mission was held in Amsterdam, which was attended by representatives of eight Ukrainian IT companies, including IGAMA, 8allocate, Teamvoy, RozetkaPay, CIGen, Solidgate, 42flows.tech and Perfsol. The mission featured an educational webinar on the FinTech market, as well as participation in the international exhibition Money20/20, which brought together more than 8,500 thousand participants from around the world. During the event, the Ukrainian delegation held business meetings with representatives of Business Finland and Amsterdam Tech and visited Amsterdam Science Park to explore its ecosystem and opportunities for cooperation. 

 

The trade mission was organised by the IT Ukraine Association together with the Business and Export Development Office, the national project Diia.Business and with the support of the European Union and the German government under the EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalisation programme, implemented in Ukraine by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

 

Oslo Innovation Week – September 2024

 

 

At Oslo Innovation Week, the meetup “From Ukraine to Norway: IT Innovations and Partnership” focused on the prospects for cooperation between the Ukrainian and Norwegian IT sectors. Representatives of well-known companies in both countries, who shared their expertise on risk management, digital transformation and cybersecurity. Andrii Lytvyn, Head of International Relations at the IT Ukraine Association, delivered a welcoming speech. Participants of the meetup also shared  their experience in maintaining operational resilience of companies during a full-scale war and how they manage to adapt to new conditions.

 

From Ukraine to Norway: IT Innovations and Partnerships at Oslo Innovation Week 2024 was organised by the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce together with the IT Ukraine Association. Partners: Devlight and Nova Digital. Supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway, Innovasjon Norge, IKT-Norge, Digital Norway.

Incredible Tech showcases Ukrainian IT solutions on the global stage. Supported by the IT Ukraine Association and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the catalogue highlights the country’s innovation and potential in the technology sector. Throughout the year, Ukrainian IT companies actively presented their solutions at international exhibitions, establishing partnerships and attracting investments. These events confirmed Ukraine’s position as a key player in the global technology market, fostering international cooperation and strengthening its position in important areas such as GovTech, FinTech and cybersecurity.
